Chianti Bed and Breakfast Le Cetinelle

Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

All that you dream in toscany

Beautiful hotel if you can call it that. Large rooms, amazing everything- from our host till the breakfast. The hotel was very clean, amazing view and a lot of facilities. A great place just to take ur time and even seat in the garden and read.

Excellent place for a relaxing Tuscany vacation.

We went to Le Cetinelle this past weekend. Which I think is the best time to visit tuscany because it's still warm but not stifling hot. I read the negative reviews after our stay and I am kind of surprised by them. The dirt road to the hotel is not bad at all. Its very well maintained for a road that isn't paved. Just take it slow around the turns and you'll be fine. For us it just added to the adventure. The owners were very accommodating and kind. And also very tolerant of our crazy children running around! The place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It has the look of history and has a very rustic farmhouse feel which we loved. I felt the rooms were a very reasonable compared to other places in tuscany we have stayed. Breakfast was typical italian breakfast. Meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, toast, fruit and beverages. I thought it was a pretty large selection for a small B&B. Will probably be returning and will definitely recommend to friends! My only suggestion would be a tasting of their wine!

Peaceful, relaxing and stunning views

Our overall experience at Le Cetinelle was superb! The 500 year-old house is set high up in the Tuscan hills enjoying views of the vineyards and Greve in Chianti below. The location is idyllic - convenient to explore the surrounding Tuscan regions and a haven to return to at the end of the day. The house and rooms have lots of character and are very well-kept and clean. The lovely owner Simonetta is very welcoming and she looked after us during our stay. Simonetta also welcomed us in her home for a 3 course meal prepared during one of the cooking classes organised at the property, which is very recommendable! Breakfast served was always plentiful and very good. The gravel road drive up to Le Cetinelle is totally worth it (amidst other comments here). We drove a VW Polo and managed it (both during the day and night) during our stay. We are now enjoying a Le Cetinelle bottle of wine and olive oil both home produced. We highly recommend Le Cetinelle

Nuovo articoloEl mejor lugar para relajarse y desconectar

Google Traduttore

Italian dinner in the garden with home made wine and a great view!

After an adventurous trip trough the crowded Florence and authentic Lucca with our 9 months old baby, we were looking for a place were we could relax in an a quiet en beautiful area and enjoy some nice wine and good food. And we found it absolutely in Le Cetinelle. With a warm and friendly welcome, big rooms en especially: a great, romantic agroturismo with a fantastic view over grape fields and mountains. With different seats outside, you feel like you are alone with your family. But if you want company, you can join in the evening for dinner or go for a small talk to the swimming pool. We had plans to go out for dinner, but the garden was everything we wanted. So every day we went to a market to buy some fresh food en made our own Italian dinner and eat it in de the garden under de starry sky, with candles, homemade wine and a great view. Also our baby Jack enjoyed all the nice attention of Luca, Simonetta and the guests. We enjoyed our days in Le Citanelle very much and when we left we regretted that we only booked for 4 nights. Thank you Luca and Simonetta! Abel, Jackie and little Jack

Hidden treasure!

We only stayed in Le Cetinelle for one night but we enjoyed our time there to the fullest. The road to the Agriturismo is a bit bumpy but no need for 4x4. You should bring some food though (or ask in advance if dinner is planned) if you don't want to make the way down to Greve again. It really is worth to stay there longer than 1 night. the pool area is very nice, great view. Breakfast in the garden was a great start in the day. Simonetta and Luca were super friendly and can give you valuable advice. I wish we would have stayed for cooking class..maybe next time :-)

Beautiful and secluded estate in the scenic Tuscany landscapes

In the vineyards, perfect for enjoying nature and quiet.
Simonetta is a great host and really makes one feel welcome.

The dinner after the cooking class was great fun. We did not take the class itself but ate what the class prepared. Good food and lots of fun chatting all together!

The property is connected to the road network through ~4km of gravel trail. No difficulty, no need for 4x4, but do plan for 10-15 minutes of slow drive.

Well located to visit Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano are nearby. And Simonetta is very helpful to point out all the small medieval villages around, in beautifully scenic hills.Do ask her.
